Sometimes due to viruses, malware virus and adware Internet Explorer Broken. Lots of people don't know what to do now and running a repair install of the OS. Forget it and just try to do a repair on Internet Explorer (IE) instead.
Warning
Before editing or putting data into registry, make sure that you have a restore point or either create it first.
How to Repair:
1. Go to the Start menu and Click Run & type regedit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
3. Select SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Active Setup > Installed Components > {89820200-ECBD-11cf- 8B85-00AA005B4383}
4. Now right-click on IsInstalled in the right window and click Modify.
5. Change the value from 1 to 0 in the value data box and click the Ok Button
6. Now close the editor and reinstall Internet Explorer. You can download it from here
Warning
After reinstalling or restarting your computer if something goes wrong, you can restore your computer to an earlyer stage. Or restart your computer and press F8 and Select “Last Known Good Configuration (F8 Safe Mode)”. Then you can try it again, but this time carefully change the registry value.
